Yardup Cottage

Built in the early 1900's, Yardup Cottage has been lovingly restored and offers private farm accommodation with stunning views of the Stirling Ranges which are only 15 minutes away. The cottage is not suitable for children or pets due it’s age & delicate nature. The spectacular South Coast, Porongurup Range & Bremer Bay Canyon are all in close proximity making Yardup Cottage the perfect base to explore the area. Albany is a scenic one hour drive. The space Yardup Cottage is a cosy space to retreat from the world, or as a base to explore the countryside. It has a wood fire, electric blankets, bbq, linen & towels and all you need to bring is your food. Guest access Guests will have Yardup Cottage entirely to themselves with private access. At busy times there will be some noise from farm machinery and some sheep work - but that is all part of the farming experience! Other things to note Please note we do not provide any meals. Our closest food store is in Gnowangerup which is 58kms away. It is open Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. Our closest fuel station is Amelup Roadhouse 8.4kms to the south. The opening hours are a little unpredictable, so please be mindful of this. Borden has a 24hr self service DIESEL only located at Elders. The next closest fuel services are in Gnowangerup and Ongerup and then also Albany which is 103kms. There is no wifi at Yardup Cottage.Mobile phone service may be limited depending on your carrier. We are a working farm with livestock & are unfortunately not able to accommodate dogs. We are also not able to accommodate children under 12 years due to the age & delicate nature of the cottage.
