A quiet retreat for the guests, it is located between two small and picturesque villages 3' walk each and 7 km from the closest beach. The beautiful ever-changing view to Syros island is one of its many assets with small windmills, dovecotes, and churches adorning the mediterranean landscape. The space Architectural elements such as the high ceilings, the arches, the elaborate marble lintels and an old dovecote incorporated to the house are typical of the local architecture. Antique furniture and artworks as well as an upright piano complete the property's unique character. Guest access Modenados house can host 3-6 people. It is a two story house, including 3 cell-sized bedrooms typical of the local architecture and a big living room on the first floor. Two of the bedrooms have a small double bed ideal for couples. The third bedroom has a comfortable double-decker bed which can accommodate kids or friends. The living room as well as the front bedroom have access to a beautiful veranda where one can admire Syros in the daytime and the stars during night time. The kitchen, the dining room and the two bathrooms are located on the ground floor which used to be a cellar. The kitchen is equipped with all the amenities for self-catering holidays, including refrigerator, electric hot plates and oven, toaster, electric kettle and a coffee machine.
