Hang out in the cozy room, in the private glen by the creek or go explore Henry Cowell Redwoods state park, local restaurants or tourist train. 20 min drive to the ocean & Santa Cruz. A good hub for exploring Monterey and Big Sur. TV (with a selection of DVD movies and Netflix & Hulu if you have an account). Very quiet and very private apartment. It's attached to the main house but on a separate level and feels like a cabin (or a treehouse some say). It faces the forest and the main house faces the street. Listen to the creek gurgle instead of traffic noise, with fresh air from the forest and a view of a forest glade. Enjoy the private Jacuzzi outside under the canopy of redwood trees. The outdoor jacuzzi under the redwoods is a great way to warm your bones. A private outdoor sauna is available - Please make arrangements with the host for its use. Other things to note Microwave, toaster and hot water kettle for tea, coffee maker (coffee and tea supplied). Dishes, glasses, a couple of pots and pans plus a two burner hot plate for cooking. Hair dryer and iron too. Fresh towels and extra blankets too. Of course there's shampoo and conditioner. Movies and books of short stories to relax with. Check out menus from local restaurants and suggestions of fun things to do. About the price - the base price is 135 but weekends are higher and summertime peak months are Little higher too
