Ardeer Farm Steading

Ardeer Steading is a 3 bed room converted farm steading situated on a working farm in Ayrshire, and is located only half a mile from an open sandy beach. Siruated in a very accessible part of Scotland, its easy to access both the surrounding countryside and coastline of Ayrshire & Arran that includes some of Ayrshires top golf courses, and with Scotlands largest city, Glasgow, being 30 minutes by train from here you are never far from a culture fix and fantastic restaurants of the big city. The space Ardeer Mains Farm is owned and run by my family who have lived and worked the farm for the last 70 years, Ardeer Mains in the early years, has went from being a predominantly a dairy farm, to the mixed farm it is today and has over the last 20 years also developed tourist accommodation by converting one of the farm buildings in to 4 different properties for renting. The surrounding fields and are now used to grow spring barley, hay and silage, and graze our own cattle, and despite being based on a farm, you are never too far away from good public transport and road network. We don't spend great amounts of money on advertising because we believe that a good experience is the source of our best recommendations. There are 3 en-suite bedrooms available. The unit consist of 3 large double bedrooms ( 2 upstairs and 1 on the ground floor ) there is flexibility on the booking system for even 2 people to book a short break and make it affordable, right up to 6 people booking all 3 rooms. When a booking is made, that booking will have sole access to the appropriate number of bedrooms, no mater how many people that particular booking consists of, you will not share the facilities with any one else. There is a Morrisons Supermarket with in a few minutes drive for people who want to stock up with their holiday groceries, or have them delivered ahead of time. The more we know about your booking and preferences, the more we can help. Most of the rooms have views overlooking the farms own land, all bedrooms have their own flat screen TV's and also offer USB charging points in most rooms. The internet has now been updated to fibre broadband. As we are a working farm, we will be around in the main farm house most times of the day or night should you have any problems or questions during your stay, or even if you just want to come round and ask a few questions on the farm or places of interest to visit whilst staying here. A contact number is also available for guests to call or message at any time. We have a travel cot and mattress available to use should guests with young children require it, but it is kindly advised that guests should bring appropriate bedding of their preference for the travel cot. 1 bedroom is on the Ground fool, people with young children should be aware of this fact when booking in case the stairs are an issue, but there is a child gate available to use if you need it. Every bedroom has its own en-suite and own TV. We will endeavour to accommodate early check in or later check out when possible, just ask when booking. Other things to note There is a Morrisons supermarket less than a half mile from the accommodation that is open from 7am till 10pm, this is great when it comes to buying food for your stay, it also has a cafe on site which opens at 8am for breakfast, or even just a coffee. For guests that cant sleep, there is also a 24 hour Tesco only a few miles away in the town of Irvine :) The local towns also have their own butchers, bakeries and coffee shops. A great suggestion for guests that might want to head over to The Isle of Arran, Cecchini's at the ferry terminal at Ardrossan can do nice breakfasts before you head with tea or coffee, or if you are starting early, you can sit back and enjoy breakfast on board the ferry, Or Mocha in Ardrossan is also a nice choice.
