The whole apartment yours; separate frontdoor. It is situated in the centre of the charming old town. As the windows towards the street are with special panes, you have no problem with noise from the traffic. Rhenen is situated in the province of Utrecht, close to Gelderland; more or less in the middle of the Netherlands. By train it is about 1,5 hour to get to Amsterdam; to Utrecht about 1/2 hour, and to Arnhem about 1/2 by bus. For the first morning there is stuf to make your own breakfast. The space Apart from the bedroom with a comfortable double bed (160 x 200), you may sleep in the livingroom, where there are two separate beds (90 x 200 and 90 x 190). Please advise us on beforehand which sleeping arrangement you wish to use! During the last couple of years we have modernized the house. There is a jacuzzi in the bathroom, and the kitchen has everything you need (dishwasher, oven, fridge, freeze, microwave etc). We live ourselves upstairs, so we are mostly present to answer any questions you may have. Though Rhenen suffered badly during WW 2, the little town hasn't lost its charm. It is the middle of this old town with the cafe's/restaurants next door, shops and on Thursday mornings the weekly (though quite small) market, and at the same time within minutes from lovely nature along the Rhine or in the hilly woods. The region has also many castles, historic sites and museums, if that is what you seek. Guest access At the back of the house there is a small yard/garden. We use it ourselves, but guests are welcome to go there as well. Our (Koga) tandem bicycle is for hire (€25,-/day) Other things to note As the Cunerachurch is close by, you cannot avoid to hear the church bells!
