This is a lovely light, quiet and airy double bedroom with its own private shower in a family house in the heart of Stoke Newington. The area is one of London's most popular, with a lively village feel and wonderful choice of restaurants, cafes and independent shops, but with excellent transport links into the city. The space The bedroom is on the first floor of a three storey, four bedroomed terraced Victorian house typical of London. The room has stripped floorboards, vintage furniture and a good-sized desk in case of work. Spotlessly clean, thoughtfully lit, and with 100% cotton sheets and (down-filled) duvet covers the room is very comfortable. The shower room is down a few steps, and the loo (reserved for guests' use) is on the ground floor. There is good wifi connection, and an international adapter. The kitchen is downstairs, and you can help yourself to tea and coffee. The house is minutes away from Church Street, the heart of Stoke Newington, lined with cafes, restaurants and small independent shops, while a five minute bus ride will take you to the cosmopolitan delights of up-and-coming Dalston. Beautiful Clissold Park is a short walk away, and there is a gym with swimming pool just around the corner. Guest access There are tea and coffee things in the room itself, and we'll provide breakfast in the mornings: tea and coffee, as well as toast and muesli and fruit and yogurt and orange juice. If you've any special dietary requirements — oat milk or whatever — then please let us know in advance and we'll do what we can. During your stay One of us will generally be around during the day to help with anything.
