Perfect for couples, solo travellers, or small families, the cottage blends rustic charm with modern comforts: original byre walls, solid oak flooring, grey and rattan furniture, and a cosy log-burning stove. Unwind in the light-filled conservatory, dine with the doors open to the breeze, or enjoy a drink on the patio overlooking the hills. The king-size bedroom features crisp cotton linens, a plush duvet, and tranquil tones of green and grey. The bathroom has underfloor heating to keep you toasty after a refreshing shower. There’s plenty to explore nearby—forest hikes, hill climbs, loch swimming, bike trails, Go Ape, boat trips and more. Make your stay extra special by joining our "Coos and Views" farm tour to meet our Highland cows, followed by farmhouse homebaking with Matt and I at The Pantry at Nether Glenny. Nearby is celebrated and award winning Nick Nairn's restaurant and our guests receive a 10% discount. There is a super local and friendly taxi service which nips up and down the hill taking our guests to and from the local eateries. We look forward to welcoming you to Kestrel Cottage! Guest access The cottage is yours to enjoy! There is a shared garden and enclosed field for dog exercise. You'll be surrounded by stunning countryside and can access hikes and cycles directly from your door step. Other things to note Kestrel is adjoined to Merlin and Buzzard cottages yet guests have private accesses. In addition the main Nether Glenny Farmhouse is across the courtyard which means the Matthew and I are available for a chat during your stay whilst always offering you complete peace and tranquility. We will provide you with a small basket of logs to get you started and bags of logs/ kindling and fire starters can be purchased from us at £10 / basket.
