Sand Dunes Retreat

Come and enjoy our refurbished and spacious family home. With all day sun and sea views it's the perfect place to unwind. It's warm with great indoor/outdoor living and with two newly installed heat pumps it's perfect for any season! Otaki is the perfect escape, with its quaint shops and cute cafés and restaurants. Yet it's still only 1 hour drive from Wellington! Perfectly located, one street back from the beach and just a five minutes' drive from the main shops. The space Our house is well spaced and split over two levels. Upstairs has two balconies, both with sliding doors, allowing you to soak up the views over the Kapiti coast or at the rear with a BBQ looking over the wetlands. Upstairs is the main living area with the kitchen, dining room and lounge (TV with Freeview and DVD). There're also the master queen bedroom and bathroom. Downstairs has a large games room (perfect for that odd rainy day) with a TV (Freeview and DVD) and sofa which doubles as the sofa bed. There are the two bedrooms, a twin (1 single, 1 king single) and a queen bed, a toilet and shower and the mudroom with a washing machine. There is plenty of outdoor space at the rear with access to Waitohu stream, perfect for white baiting (small children must be supervised as it's not fenced). We have a kayak and life jackets, ideal for the stream or take it a small walk to the beach! Guest access For your convenience all linen and towels are provided. The kitchen is well equipped with pans and utensils for any of your basic cooking needs!
