Manoir Le Bourg is a landmark in the village of Touffailles, with its unusual turret and manor house within the grounds. This lovely, rural countryside area with its many medieval villages is very popular yet still retains a peaceful and “days gone by” atmosphere. The night markets in July & August are excellent in St Maurin, Bourg de Visa and Lauzerte. The Auberge in Miramont de Quercy (3 mins) is excellent as is the English-run restaurant La Sirene in Montaigu de Quercy. The space Manoir Le Bourg has been tastefully decorated and furnished throughout, maintaining the character of the property with the benefit of modern luxuries. The manoir sits on approximately an acre of land with a large swimming pool and plenty of space for relaxing around the pool or playing table tennis and other activities. The terrace leading to the pool is a fantastic space for al fresco dining. Pool towels are provided. Please note, the swimming pool is not a fenced off area, however in accordance with safety standards it is fitted with an alarm system. Parents or guardians of young children and/or guests who are not able to swim will need to be responsible for the safety of their group at all times. The property manager lives in the separate detached gite and is available to help with any questions and give advice on the local area. Guest access All guest have exclusive access to the entire grounds and pool. Other things to note The manoir sits on approximately an acre of land and includes a small stream. Parents or guardians of young children will need to be responsible for their safety at all times. The bedrooms are all located up one flight of stairs, this may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. There are no stair gates. The TV is connected to satellite and so can only get UK programming.
