Beach Life

Our home is situated in beautiful Mount Maunganui with a picturesque quiet beach a few steps away. Guests have a three-bedroom unit located downstairs in our property. The unit has a private access and is not part of the main house. You’ll enjoy sea views from the outdoor patio in this quiet neighbourhood. The space The unit has a flat-screen TV and WiFi. An oven, refrigerator and microwave can be found in the kitchen as well as all the basics for cooking. There’s a dining table inside that can seat six as well as a larger dining table outside on the patio (it is covered) that seats eight people. There’s no air conditioning or dishwasher in the unit. However, as we are so close to the beach you get a lovely breeze to keep you cool during the summer. If you’re coming in winter you’ll find heaters in all the rooms. Bayfair mall is a 15-minute walk or 3-minute drive away. Downtown Mount Maunganui or Papamoa Village are a 7-minute drive away. Rotorua is a 45-minute drive away. The closest airport is Tauranga Airport, 5-minute drive away. Auckland Airport is just under a 3-hour drive away. As we're a young family located directly upstairs there can be noise between the floors. This is best described as family noise. For this reason our place is best suited to families or active groups as we’re up early. If you are sensitive to noise this won't be a good fit as you will likely hear us walking around. Due to the close proximity between the two floors we’re not suited to people who are up late, drinking or wanting to party. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet with mostly retired folk and families. If you love the beach, you'll love our place.
