Welcome to my working studio in Trastevere, the bohemian artists' area of Rome. I rent out the double bedroom with a private bathroom on the ground level. NO SELF CHECK IN! The space Welcome to my working studio in Trastevere, the bohemian artists' area of Rome. I rent out the double bedroom with a private bathroom on the ground level. My space is a really unique artist studio with access to the street. It is very quiet, though situated right in the heart of Trastevere, where you'll find your favorite winebar or restaurant just around the corner or a quick walk down the street. The atelier consists of a big entrance room, a double bedroom, a bathroom and two spaces in the basement. It has Internet with wifi. Please note that I am working in the studio throughout the day, but you can take full use of the double bedroom and the bathroom. In the evening ( from 19.00 onwards) until the morning ( around 10 / 10.30) there will be usually nobody working in the studio, giving you a lot of privacy. The use of the kitchen corner is limited to a light breakfast in the morning. COOKING IS NOT ALLOWED since my artwork is displayed there. My space is not a bed and breakfast, but you can find a bar with wonderful pastry for breakfast just around the corner. Since I will be working around the studio throughout the day , I can offer useful tips and lots of pratical advice... A friend once told me: "Your atelier is in the most beautiful street of Trastevere, which is in the most beautiful city of the world !" and I agree! Trastevere is a very special neighborhood, beautiful and very relaxed, giving you the feeling like you are in a little village though you find yourself right in the heart of a metropolis. It's a great place to live and hang out. The atelier is situated right in the middle of Trastevere and less than a five minutes stroll to the river. From there you can either cross over and walk to the Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Roman baths - all the sites you've heard of and more,- or you walk down to the Vatican which is walking distance ( 10 Minutes ) from the studio. There are also buses and trams nearby if you'd rather take public transport. The H bus goes from Termini station to ten minutes walk away - or you can get a taxi for less than €15. And from Termini station, you can get a bus to the airport of Ciampino and the Trastevere train station will bring you right to the Fiumicino airport. Usually I will be present from 10.30 / 11.00 onwards until around 19.00. In the night and the morning ( until 10 / 10.30) you will be on your own.
