This is a most wonderful place for people looking to spend a quiet and rejuvenating time in the midst of nature surrounded by apple orchards and with direct views of the upper himalayas. It has a beautiful mountain Trek walk of 25 mins approx from the parking area. Guests come here for complete peace and great energy. It has an exclusive feel very offbeat away from the road.All 4 seasons feel differrent here and the place changes colours in these different seasons.Come here to refresh and heal. Upon the request of our many visitors from outside of the country and from inside i am adding some very important new details and events and in a concise form. The property description from before is very very detailed and covers everything to the tee but for some people it may have been too long and perhaps it doesn't matter to them being such open-minded travellers and all embracing travellers but this first paragraph should be enough for those seeking to know all our new events and inspire you to ask me details or/and questions about them. So please read below in point form and then you will know what to experience and what to create or curate. 1. We have been on Airbnb for almost 10 years now and so much is written and been reviewed by guests about the location and the place. We have had many Retreats in the past- Retreats on various subjects- healing, yoga, meditation, mountain life experiences, mountain food and workshops also on the same plus on photography and art and wood bamboo structures along with painting and short and longer duration Explorative Treks. You can be a part of them so just ask me details about any of the upcoming programmes and i will share. 2. You can create your own workshop or an Event and i will help you to organise it. 3. The prices here are specifically for AIRBNB and accomodation prices but you can also have an extra camproom at a reduced fee and this is only for those who book our cottage house. The cottage house has 1 room where 4 can sleep. 1 big double bed and 2 single bad arrangements and has its own big verandah looking right into the mountains and its own attached washroom. There is no self-cooking facility though and the cook here prepares some wonderful authentic food according to your taste. 4. For those that want to stay long- term or more than 3 days at a stretch there is a separate facility to cook your own meals and for this the prices are much lesser for the cottage . So just go ahead and ask me in case you want this option. It will help you save money and also enable you to create a differrent experience. For such stays you have to inquire first if the option is available on those dates and i will tell you if it is possible. This is for stays over 3 days. The options here and below are options that you can choose and i will tell you the prices. The prices listed right now are for regular stays . 5. There is also an option for those looking to book the cottage and semi-volunteer. In such a scenario you pay less as you become a part of our beautiful space. 4. There are volunteering opportunities here on our farm and on our grounds which you can be a part of so just inquire. We provide you free accomodation and you can be a part of our many events and excursions into the mountains, exploring beautiful villages upto gangotri, harsil, bhatwadi, uttarkashi, chamba, nag tibba, old mussoorie and many other hidden gems. 5. There are tools here and pens and drawing , skethching, painting material and you can spend your time doing some wonderful art. There are some beautiful books here and you can also bring your own art or any kind of tools and/ or books to busy yourself in a beautiful way. 6. Like i said before you can create your own workshop or event here and can stay here as part of our home. Just share your ideas with me and if the energy matches we can do things together. 7. You also have an option here to be a part of us longer-term by contributing to our space and contributing for a tent or a fabricated room which will be shared between us but will be yours whenever you come and stay. 8. Lastly, this has been a place for people from all over who have found peace and happiness here from all over the world. This is a traditional camping site , the only one here where you can really relax and feel in the midst of nature with an energy which is difficult to match. Our purpose is to make you really feel connected with nature so please don't expect a guest house kind of experience. This is more like a home with a very relaxed atmosphere with wonderful cooks and our own vegetable garden and you also have a chance to make your own food or do barbeque by the fire in our special space if you want to. A lot of people love to come and stay here for longer to meditate or spend time with their books or immersed in clarifying their thoughts. I believe this space really heals. You can do a nature retreat here and alot of people have found this really rejuvenating and uplifting. Please make sure that you carry shoulder bags and rucksacks when you come here and travel light. The mountains are not a place to travel with suitcases . It does not make sense and will instead cause you problems. This is an advise coming from someone who has travelled the length and breadth of the himalayas. If you really understand the lines jotted here it will help you to create a wonderful experience and i will help you all along to make sure that you see the best sights and experience the best of this area which a lot of people miss because of lack of information and awareness. This property is one of the best in the whole of North India and especially in Dhanaulti Mussoorie area. A traditional camping site and cottage with huge open spaces and right in the middle of nature. The best sunset and sunrise points in dhanaulti are literally at arm’s length, very close by. The best trails and mini- treks start from here. So really you do not have to go anywhere.This space encompasses the best of what dhanaulti has to offer. Even the path that leads to the land is something to be cherished. Going through forest land with unbelievable views of the Himalayas and passing through apple orchards, farmland and a beautiful stretch of forest land. The path goes down the mountain but is easy to traverse. But I would still suggest that our property is not suitable for under 8 year olds or those over 55 with health problems or those that find it a problem to walk even a little bit.The property is accessed by a most beautiful proper mountain trek which can take between 25 to 30 minutes of walking depending on how quick or fit one is.For those used to the mountains it takes lesser time. It also depends on what you want to experience. If you have the eyes to really appreciate beauty then this is really worth it. I have found it surprising to see people talk about this walk. You come to dhanaulti and not experience this then honestly it's a waste of time. Because this is what the best of dhanaulti is. This mountain path is a real jewel because nowhere in dhanaulti you will get the views it affords and there are a lot of people who come here just to savour these views. For those wanting to experience the best of dhanaulti, it’s beautiful natural trails this is the place to be. The walk is a proper mountain Trek walk which even though is moderate in intensity and by trekking standards but still give you an experience of a little Trek. and an authentic camping and mountains experience. It Provides views which are stunning and for which people go a long distance. But luckily you have it all here within walking distance. It is like a hidden jewel. The walk in itself is the crowning jewel. It is a most beautiful walk through waterfalls, apple orchards and numerous varieties of trees and flowers and it opens out into a most beautiful and stunning space. And it is a walk that people of all ages love to take. No level of difficulty but if you are not used to walking even a little bit and dont appreciate the soul of nature then probably not in that case. There are a lot of beautiful trails starting from our land and you get awesome views of the upper himalayas from numerous points in the path that lead to our land. If you want to experience the best of dhanaulti and want to have the best viewpoint of the himalayas and surrounding areas in dhanaulti then you have to take this walk. Probably this little walk is in itself worth maybe more than the camp. Thats what a lot of people have told us. So you can imagine. No check ins are allowed after dark. In such a scenario guests will have to find accomodation in some other place so please make sure you start early and arrive on time.
