The Artist's House

This wonderful bohemian apartment is nestled in the beautiful countryside of northern Italy. 10 min car ride to Pavia and a 15 min walk through the rice fields, takes you to one of the most beautiful Monasteries in Italy. Milano is a 20 min drive away, by car or by train. The apartment is situated in an old charming farmhouse containing a living room with a dobble bed, a eat-in kitchen and a big bathroom. Access to a big green sunny garden, with lots of possibilities to live outdoor spaces. The space Your host Maria Dyrting is danish, but came to live in Carpignago 21 years ago, after a travel in India where she met a Sardinian born artist. They have been living in Carpignago raising their daughter, now studying in Copenhagen. Guido recently returned to his beloved Island to continue his work ( One of the most beautiful places in the world!!!) , But before he left, together they transformed the studio where he used to work, into a very special little apartment. Everybody describes it as being very welcoming. Guido decided to use it as a possibility to showcase his art...So If you fall in love with a painting, a sculpture o a furniture while staying in the apartment......you will be able to buy it and take it home with you......Maria (mariadyrting.com) your host, also an artist, a healer, a Rebirther and resent creator of a web shop, selling among other beautiful creations, a book she created for children yong and old.....She works mornings in a forest kindergarten, but when she is home she loves to cook cakes and eat them in the garden ......you will meet her and her 2 cats, Socrates and Shiva there ......
