The main farm house is located close to the cottage and your privacy is completely respected. Your farming hosts are only there if you need them. Guest access Rosewood Cottage is accessed via a shared driveway with the hosts. Guests will have access to a large yard surrounding the cottage and an outdoor dining space under a pergola with sweeping views of the Valley. Other things to note We welcome guests who are environmentally-conscious. Our property is completely off-grid and runs entirely on solar powered energy when the sun shine and during overcast days and in the evenings our property runs off batteries. Your thermal comfort is also very important to us. Please consider the wood burner and gas heater in the evenings - rather than the reverse cycle air conditioning for heating. And please consider the ceiling fans in the evenings - rather than the air conditioning for cooling. Our property also uses precious tank water, collected from the rain that falls on the cottage roof. Please use water mindfully. Our tank water has a brand new triple filtration system for your peace of mind. Our cottage and home uses an on-site effluent system.
