Or stay home: 1.2acres, stunning views from two levels of decks. Enjoy private creek access for swimming across the street where parking for 4 cars is. Dates flexible - ask for availability beyond calendar The space The house is a former brothel and from the 1890’s. It’s had a lot of life. We have decorated inside with a more modern feel! Water filter has been upgraded - so city people rest assured you will not smell the sulfur of country water. No more “fart” water lol Kitchen has just been updated and fully stocked. Master bedroom has private balcony and access to the full bath. (Queen bed) Second Bedroom is larger than the master. With a new queen bed and crib/toddler bed. Third bedroom is small with two twin beds (There is a twin bed with trundle. ) Trundle means one twin bed slides under the bed above. We had our only bad review bc someone didn’t understand this. Living room has a pull out - queen mattress if you want to have 8 guests. Office set up on the landing. Be careful on the stairs please as they can be slippery 1.5 bathrooms Your own creek access. Gorgeous water views and your own natural swimming pool to soak in or do water sports (kayak) . Creek is located across the country road. Parking fits 4 cars is across the road creek side. Fire pit down by the water and also in the backyard. Large charcoal grill for BBQ Stock Tank pool is set up but depending on when you visit I can’t promise it will be leaf free. Skimmer/vacuum available but don’t put it on the listing given I can’t promise it will be swim ready. You do have two other great options. Swimming in the creek is ready for you. Plus the town pool is open for a small per day fee. We are here in between rentals - so while you have free/empty cabinets and closets....they are not all empty. If you want a less lived in feel ...lmk and I can hide the pics of my kid and family. But good news ...feel free to eat all our s’mores. Guest access Our home is the perfect getaway from the city and provides a natural escape with two hip upstate towns a short drive away. Private creek access for swimming, kayaking , etc. Large lawn and stone patio for dinner outside under the stars. Close to the local sites for caving and hiking. Other things to note Parking and creek are across the street. Water is well and we have just invested in a fancy filtration system so the city folks won’t have to deal with the former slight smell of sulfur). No more “fart water” :) We still provide natural spring water to drink even though the water has been tested. We have everything you need to feel at home. We just added a TVs. No cable but we have WiFi access to add your Netflix House is set off a country road. Parking and Creek is across the road. Town pool is great and available for out of town guests for a small day rate. This is the country. During hunting season you will hear gunshots from across the river. Dogs are welcomed - $50 fee per dog per stay.
