Consul's Residence

Designed by a Brazilian architect, displays a unique light repleted character. The house is located at the historic Ponta Delgada's downtown. It was once the temporary USA consul's official residence. Later on it was leased for 14 years to the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons). Mass was held at the house living room, the altar was at its southeast corner. The space The house was purchased and totally refurbished by the current owners in 2000 and has been assigned to short term rentals after 2016. You will find a modern, spacious, all room and living room newly climatized home. The house is perfect for families with a surrounding luxurious garden featuring a tall maidenhair tree and has a new fully equipped outdoor grill since 2019. From the top floor balcony you can enjoy the view over downtown Ponta Delgada and the Atlantic Ocean. The house drive way takes on up to 3 cars. Downtown, Mall (with supermarket and pharmacy) and two botanical gardens all within a ten minute walk range. We are a government licensed holiday home. Guest access To the entire house. No sharing.
