We are located opposite the Covered Market (Marche Couvert) on the corner of Rue Raspail and Rue du Marche. The space In the centre of a beautiful French village, we have a self contained apartment for a couple looking for a getaway. The apartment consists of a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, toilet and washing machine including dry rack, iron and ironing board. Free and unlimited Wifi is available. A comfortable large size bed made up with crisp clean linen awaits your arrival. The apartment is on the ground floor and is very private. A large supermarket is a short walk away for your everyday needs. Ample free public parking is available in front of the house and being in the centre of town you are within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Experience a typical French holiday; enjoy the natural beauty and serenity of the Orgues with the magnificent views overlooking the region or walk one of the many forest trails. Visit the many Brocante markets and Vide Greniers in the quaint surrounding villages to buy something typically French and unique or just sit and relax and tantalise your taste buds with the local cuisine. Spend time at the lake and the historic Chateau De Val and enjoy a leisurely boat ride, the beach and many of the water activities. The Dordogne flows through the centre of town which adds to the beauty of the area. A local food market is 100 metres from your front door every Saturday and during the summer months fresh cherries are in season and are available in abundance. Local patisseries are all around with a range of many delightful exquisite pastries and cakes. During the summer months there is a wide variety of community activities organised in the centre of this friendly French village.
