Good walks nearby. Great escape from the city. The space The guest house is situated in the country in a stunning, idyllic and sheltered 2 hectare garden with private areas and ponds. Hammocks, outdoor furniture and a BBQ are available for guests on request. The guest house is self-contained with a log burner for winter coziness, and a verandah to bask in the sun in summer. The kitchen is fully kitted out with quality gas hob, dishwasher, microwave/convection oven, and a good range of kitchen utensils and some basic condiments. There are several resturants within 10 minute's drive, and the property is close to good walks, beaches and is about 1 hour's drive to the capital city of Wellington. Alternatively the suburban rail is 15 minutes drive away and takes you to the centre of the City. Not suitable for children due to the ponds in the garden. Guest access The whole garden is available to explore or to relax in. Other things to note We have a very friendly medium-sized dog and a friendly cat who will most likely come and visit you for a pat or two. We are situated in a farming area, so there is occasional noise from neighbouring farming activities. Please leave the property as you find it.
