Asirawan Siam Healing House is a Guesthouse & Thai Spa in WEST BEACH, Bloubergstrand in Cape Town. This room is facing swimming pool & garden in secure home just 10 minute walk to the beach from which one has the best views of Table Mountain; 1 min to MyCiti Bus Stop going to V&A Waterfront; We have two separate double rooms available with shared kitchen. Authentic Thai Spa on premises at reasonable tariffs. (The other room at R450p/d is listed on Airbnb in a second listing. The space The house has secured off street parking and the rooms can be accessed via a separate entrance from the main house via spacious garden and pool area. No meals served but there are many good eateries locally and 5 shopping malls within 10 minute drive radius. Self-catering kitchen available alongside the two rooms with stove, fridge and microwave. It is a shared kitchen between two guest rooms. This room at R568 per night has an en suite bath, shower and toilet. (The second room is under a second listing on Airbnb and has its own shower and toilet alongside the room at R468 per night. Both rooms can accommodate 2 people sharing a double bed.) Guest access Guests have access to parking, the room, garden and pool. Treatments at the Thai Spa are available at the tariffs listed on the brochure in the room. Access to the main house is only by invitation. During your stay Patric Tariq Mellet and his wife Asirawan Leena Mellet are at your service whenever required. Patric is a retired senior state official with extensive knowledge of tourism, SA history, the cultural, legal, business and political environment and can offer appropriate advice. Leena runs the Thai Spa and she and Pam are graduates of the Wat Po Buddhist Temple Traditional Medical School in Bangkok. A small SA-Thai Slave Heritage Centre is alongside the boutique Spa. Other things to note The house hosts a SA-Thai Slave Heritage Reflection Centre which focuses on the links between Thailand and Cape Town over 400 years through the Dutch East India Company's slave trade and import of Southeast Asian slaves to the Cape. The Centre explores and celebrates the heritage and history of the Cape's 65% 'Coloured' population descended from slaves and southern Indigenes - the Khoena and San.
