Bungalow in Bradenton

Located in West Bradenton, this 1922 Craftsman 2-story home is in the Historic District, a block from the Manatee River, and close to the pristine beaches of Anna Maria Island, IMG, and Sarasota. The house is divided in half. The separate entrance is through a living room dedicated to the guests. The space The house was built in 1922 and has maintained the original footprint in the main part of the house. Your space is an addition that was built 15 years ago. It includes a great room downstairs and the entire 2nd floor. The upstairs (your living space) is an oversized master suite with a balcony. This primary suite has a king-size Tempurpedic mattress, 50” flat screen TV, wi-fi, and a writing desk. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, double sinks, and a toilet equipped with a bidet. You will be provided with fresh towels, linens, and toiletries. In lieu of kitchen access, there is a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. I also provide plates, cups, tableware, and utensils. The room has a wrap-around balcony overlooking the back garden. You will not have access to the clothes closet. Guest access I do not accept 3rd party bookings. Whomever’s account that the reservation is booked through will be one of the overnight guests for the entire stay. The kitchen is not available for use. There is a microwave, a small refrigerator, and a coffee pot as well as, a table and chairs in the room. You are welcome to watch TV in the living room downstairs, but outside of using the washer and dryer (upon request for guests staying more than 3 days), I ask you to respect the privacy of the owner, as this is her private residence, and not to enter any other parts of the house. The home is located in a quiet, tree lined neighborhood and is a perfect spot to take walks along the river or sit in on the balcony sipping a cup of coffee or tea. The shady backyard has two chairs. During your stay I am available as much or a little as you want. I keep up with what’s going on to make myself available with information about the local area events, cuisine, and in general, i.e., Disney World, Miami Beach, local restaurants, etc. If I don't know, I'll try to find someone who does :) During your stay, my Goldendoodle, Lucy will be happy to greet you at the door, and keep you company when you’re downstairs. If you prefer, i will gate her on the other side of the house. Other things to note On your initial check in (arrival day) please try to stay in the window of 3 pm-8 pm, (to insure your arrival is seamless. If you need to check in later, just let me know.
