Welcome to Cunninghame Cottages, a peaceful countryside retreat set within a beautiful 15-acre private estate in the Garnock Valley, North Ayrshire. Surrounded by open landscapes and fresh Ayrshire air, it’s the perfect place to relax and reconnect with family, friends, or colleagues. We’re also a great choice for wedding parties and larger gatherings. Our modular cottage complex allows multiple cottages to be booked together, so groups can stay close while still enjoying their own privacy. The space Cunninghame Cottages are spacious self-catering homes set within Geilsland Estate. Each cottage sleeps up to 8 guests and is fully self-contained, with its own entrance, kitchen, bathrooms, and living areas. They’re ideal for families, groups of friends, interest groups, or work crews looking for a comfortable base in North Ayrshire. As part of a unique row of four cottages, larger groups can book multiple cottages together. On site you’ll also find Mocha Jaks café — ideal for breakfast, coffee, cake, or a bite to eat after exploring the Garnock Valley or Ayrshire coast Guest access "✅ Guest Access Guests booking a cottage have use of their space, along with shared access to the wider estate grounds and trails. Need more room? You can combine multiple cottages, or book all four together as Cunninghame House — sleeping up to 32 guests with access to additional social and catering spaces. Guests are welcome to use the laundry room an social spaces within the building and around the estate" Other things to note " Other Things to Note 🐾 Dogs are welcome! There is a small charge to cover cleaning, Please let us know in advance if you’re bringing pets. 🛏️ We kindly ask guests to strip their beds and place linen in the laundry bags provided before checkout — it’s a small step that really helps our team. 🧼 All cottages are self-catering, but starter essentials are provided (tea, coffee, cleaning supplies, and bathroom basics). 👶 Cot beds and high chairs are available on request — please ask ahead of your stay. 🎉 The cottages can be booked individually or together as Cunninghame House (sleeps up to 32) for larger groups and events. 🏛️ Geilsland Estate also has an ample event space (Geilsland Hall) which can be hired separately for weddings, parties, or gatherings.
