Description
The house is an 1860 goldminer's cottage brought to Campbells Creek on a dray from historic Maldon. It has been substantially renovated and extended in the back section and has four bedrooms and a beautiful north facing deck. There are many historic houses and other buildings nearby. Anyone interested in the story of this area will love it here! The space Rural edge of town with horses, goats, chickens, kangaroos, echidnas, sheep.... just five minutes walk away. And i have a cat! Guest access One main bedroom and one smaller one if needed in addition to main one. Second lounge space for your use. Laundry facilities. Use of kitchen for cooking by special arrangement. I have polished boards in the house and many floor rugs. Please be aware of this as i would hate for you to trip on one on a visit to the bathroom at night. During your stay I will welcome you into my home and enjoy conversation with you. But i will also give you your personal space. I will make suggestions for things to do around town if you so require. You are welcome to look at my bookshelves and read my books. Other things to note I have a garden and compost. I will share fresh fruit and veg from my garden with you, though i don't always have produce as my garden is in development. I am an ecobrick trainer, which means that i recycle soft plastics into modules which are used for making small household and garden furniture. If you are interested i will show you how to do it.
