Description

Charming room in a typical mid-18th century farmhouse in which to share the passion for this beautiful land, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, Neive (CN). We are 4 km from Barbaresco, 13 km from Alba and 25 km from Barolo. The space Our country house is located in Neive and stands on a plot of land of about 3 hectares mainly cultivated with vines, walnuts and hazelnuts. The part intended for the rooms, the breakfast room and kitchen is exposed to the southeast, while our home is on the upper floor of the opposite wing, the one with the arches, or the old barn. The renovation was carried out in full respect of the construction elements and materials typical of the Piedmontese tradition and the original structure. The farmhouse, called "Podere Palaretto", as can be read on the marble epigraph placed on one of the facades, is located about two kilometers from the historic center of Neive. We wanted to convey to anyone who loves the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato, or is simply eager to discover this area, all the charm that prompted us to invest in this new adventure. The rooms, about 30 square meters each, reflect the concept of traditional architecture, modern design and maximum comfort, linked to personalized and discreet hospitality. Most of the rooms have a wood-burning fireplace, brick vaults and views of the surrounding vineyards and hazelnut groves, a large bathroom and an outdoor relaxation area where you can sip a good glass of Nebbiolo. All united by the harmony between modern functionality and the warmth of tradition. Many pieces have been carefully chosen in the Piedmontese antique markets or designed by transforming the classic function into an alternative. I PIOPPI ROOM: On the ground floor, with a view on three sides, it dominates the panorama of the Langhe hills. It is a bright but intimate room, in Scandinavian country style, with two armchairs, a large bathroom with a bathtub and a shower. It has completely independent access from the front garden. Lighting curated by the eclectic artist Walter Bonanno. Features •Bedroom and bathroom: 30sqm •Facing southeast onto the courtyard and outdoor relaxation area. •Bathroom with shower, bathtub, sink, toilet, bidet, hairdryer •Double bed 160×200 •Ceilings with original brick vaults •Linen • Tea set • Minibar •WiFi • 42" TV • Safe • Courtesy line • Outdoor relaxation area •Possibility of an extra bed or crib THE RELAIS The dream of a lifetime becomes real with the renovation of this typical L-shaped farmstead dating back to mid-18th century and the chance to share this astonishing land, a Unesco world heritage site, with anyone willing to. Our country house is located in Neive, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, on a 3-hectare property mainly cultivated with vines, walnuts, and hazelnuts. The guest rooms, the breakfast room and the kitchen are facing south-east, whereas our family lives in the opposite wing, the one with arcades that used to be the hay loft, on the first floor. The renovation works have been carried out in full respect of the building elements and materials typical of Piedmont tradition and the original structure. The farmstead, named "Podere Palaretto" according to the inscription on marble to be found on one of the facades, is 2km away from the historic center of Neive. Our ambition is to share with all of you who love Langhe, Roero and Monferrato or wish to discover these territories, the fascination that drove us into this new adventure. THE ROOMS The rooms, around 30 sqm each, reflect the concept of traditional architecture, modern design and maximum comfort, linked to customized and discreet hospitality. Most of the rooms are equipped with a fireplace, red brick ceilings and views of the surrounding vineyards and walnut trees, a spacious bathroom and an external area where you can relax while tasting a good glass of Nebbiolo wine.
