Spacious and cozy log cabin with large garden and room for 8 guests. Walking distance to the beach, nature and local farm shops. Perfect for families, friends and couples who want to enjoy the tranquility all year round. Enjoy the warmth of the wood-burning stove, wilderness bath, indoor spa and sauna in the cold winter months and open the patio doors to the garden and terrace with evening sun and a 10-minute walk through a meadow to the beach on the warm summer evenings. The space 🌿100 m² housing + 40 m² loft. Living room with ceiling to kip, large windows, wood-burning stove, heat pump and direct exit to terrace and garden. Open kitchen with dining area, fully equipped for both everyday and holiday use. Three bedrooms: two with double beds (180×200 cm) and one with two bunk beds (90×200 cm) with room for 4 people. Large bathroom with spa and sauna. Wilderness bath in the garden and outdoor bath for sandy feet. Activities Inside: craft table, games, dressing room, books and TV. Outside: trampoline, hammocks, wooden hut, garden games and green common area. Grill & fire pit Fire pit that can be used for s'mores, grilling or paella under the open sky. On the terrace you will also find our large gas grill, which you are welcome to borrow. If the bottle is empty, you can use the fire pit or possibly refill the bottle yourself. Nature and surroundings The cottage is peacefully located near the sea and heather hills with old pine trees and wild nature. You can see squirrels, deer and sparrows - and maybe a fox at dusk, and in the evening you can often hear the owl. The beach is close by and offers crabs, starfish and fresh sea air - and great opportunities to spot guinea pigs. Experiences in the area - 10-minute walk to beach with high cliffs and hips and opportunity to walk along the water to Heatherhill - 10-minute walk to farm shops with pick-your-own strawberries, homemade ice cream and berry brunch - 20-minute walk to Heatherhill with heather hills, ocean views, gourmet pizza & Italian ice cream at Il Terrazzo - 3 km to Rågeleje with Spanish tapas, beach promenade and surfers - 5 km to Tisvildeleje with restaurants, beach café and summer atmosphere What is included in the rent? 3-4 bikes are ready in the shed for small excursions. There is free parking for two cars in the driveway to the house. Firewood for normal use for lighting the wood-burning stove and wilderness bath is included. 🛏️Linen Please bring your own sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, tea towels and dishcloths. There are duvets and pillows for 8 people, and all duvets are single duvets. Bring sheets in the following sizes: – 2 pcs. for double beds (180×200 cm) - 4 pcs. for single beds/bunk beds (90×200 cm) We prefer that you bring your own linen, but if it is too inconvenient due to the trip, you can rent a linen package from us. However, it requires that: - You rent linen to all overnight guests. - You do the washing, drying, and packing it all up again, so it's ready for the next guests. In order to reach it on the day of departure, you will be allowed to check out later (3 pm). - Write already at the time of booking if you wish to rent linen. *** 💖 Take good care of the house The cottage is not only a rental home, but our second home with our private things. We hope you will treat it with the same care as if it were your own. *** ⚠️ADDITIONAL COSTS ⚡Power consumption Settled according to consumption (DKK 4/kWh). Take a picture of the electricity meter on arrival and departure and pay via MobilePay or Airbnb's Resolution Center. 🛏️Linen package The package contains sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases & bath towels and in addition towels and dishcloths for sharing. Price: DKK 125 per person for the entire stay. Guest access You have access to the entire house, garden and shed with garden games, sand toys and bicycles.
