The accommodation offers complete comforts (air conditioning, gas barbecue, Wi-Fi) and is close to dream beaches and cliffs loved by climbers. We look forward to seeing you! The space -THE APARTMENT AND THE CLIMATE COMFORT. Very bright and located in a quiet area of the small village of Cala Gonone, the accommodation is far from the chaos, although it is close to the sea, which is about 400 meters away. The roof is insulated with cork, the natural bark of trees that ensures an optimal climate in every season. The apartment is, however, equipped with Wi-Fi and state-of-the-art air conditioners in every room. THE VERANDAS AND OUTDOOR AREAS • East-facing veranda: Spacious and with a beautiful view of the gulf (and with a view of the mountain on the left), it is fully furnished for outdoor dining and relaxing, with a table, chairs, sofas, armchairs, and deck chairs. • West-facing veranda: Smaller and with a mountain view, it allows you to enjoy the warm afternoon sun until sunset. • Private garden: It has an outdoor shower in a secluded location for the exclusive use of the attic floor (with hot and cold water available all day) and a sheltered barbecue for tasty grilling. LIVING AREA AND BEDS - The living room, which also serves as a dining room, directly overlooks the veranda with a sea view. The new beds, with very comfortable bases and mattresses, complete the entire furnishings, which are also well maintained with attention to detail: from the curtains to the upholstery to the furniture, all specially chosen to ensure thorough cleaning. To keep the accommodation spotless, a handy vacuum cleaner is also available. SUPER-WELL-EQUIPPED KITCHEN - The kitchen is brand new, equipped with a quartz stove, sink, and burners. It is perfectly equipped for cooking independently at home: in addition to the fridge with freezer, you will find a dishwasher, a convection oven, a microwave, and all the kitchen utensils. PREMIUM BATHROOM AND AMENITIES - The apartment has a bathroom complete with shower, toilet, bidet, sink, and washing machine. All the fixtures (as well as the outdoor shower) are powered by solar panels and, alternatively, by an electric water heater to ensure hot and cold water all day long. We provide all the linens for the beds, the bathroom, and the beach. There is also an iron with an ironing board, a hairdryer, and a complete hair set with a straightener, a brush, and other styling accessories. THE CHARM OF CALA GONONE AND OUR REGION Cala Gonone impresses with its diverse landscapes. To the south, towering cliffs and small white pebbles characterize pristine beaches that can be reached by sea, by car, or by hiking. To the north, you can easily reach the endless beaches of fine sand at Cartoe, Osalla, and the splendid oasis of Bidderosa. THE WILD SUPRAMONTE AND THE HINTERLAND We are protected by the Supramonte of Barbagia, rich in traditions and archaeological sites. You will discover wonders such as Goloritzé Beach (a climber's paradise), the Gorropu Gorge, the primary forests, and the Su Gologone springs with its navigable river. SPORTS AND ADVENTURE Trekking and mountain biking: Numerous breathtaking scenic routes. Water: Kayaking, canoeing on the lake (e.g., Ecoparco Neulè), or scuba diving with instructors. Exciting activities: Tennis court 500 meters away and paragliding. PRACTICAL INFO Parking: All parking spaces around the house are free. Accommodation tax: €1.50 per person per night (more details in the "Other notes" section). Guest access ACCESS TO THE HOME AND SAFETY The attic apartment is accessed by passing through the shared garden and going up a characteristic spiral staircase with a landing, which is protected along its entire length by a solid railing. An easily accessible fire extinguisher is located in the middle of the staircase. The staircase leads to a lovely west-facing entrance porch, illuminated by the setting sun and protected by a wooden canopy. This space is furnished with a marble coffee table and chairs, and is equipped with a safety gate (essential for the peace of mind of those traveling with children). From here, the small entrance opens up, leading through a corridor to the interior of the house and the bright living room, which overlooks the large veranda with a magnificent view of the gulf. EXCLUSIVE AND SHARED SPACES Guests have the following at their total and exclusive disposal: The entire apartment. The two private verandas (sea view to the east, mountain view to the west). The secluded outdoor shower and the sheltered barbecue. Note: The only shared space is the garden surrounding the house. SAFETY AND PEACE OF MIND DEVICES Indoor Sensors: The apartment is equipped with a smoke and carbon monoxide detector to ensure you have a peaceful and safe stay. Video surveillance: For the safety of guests and the property, all access points outside the property are under video surveillance. Other things to note MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS (ITALIAN LAW) To ensure a quick and legally compliant check-in, we inform you of two simple mandatory requirements: IDENTITY DOCUMENTS: Upon your arrival (or shortly before via message), we will ask you to show or send the documents of all guests. This is a legal requirement in Italy for public safety registration (Alloggiati Web portal of the Police Headquarters). MUNICIPAL ACCOMMODATION TAX: As established by municipal regulations, we are required by law to collect the Accommodation Tax. The amount is €1.50 per person per night, to be paid in cash at the time of check-in (we will issue you a proper receipt). We appreciate your cooperation regarding this tax, which is not included in Airbnb payments. SECURITY AND PRIVACY VIDEO SURVEILLANCE: To ensure maximum security for guests and the property, we remind you that the access points outside the property are equipped with video surveillance cameras.
