Newly remodeled solar powered modern bungalow is the perfect getaway for travelers seeking a tranquil refuge from the hustle and bustle, but minutes from anything in Albuquerque. This is an exceptionally unique property, located on a half acre lot, which feels like a Zen garden. There are several sitting, meditation areas; beautiful desert gardens; and uninterrupted mountain and sunset views. Within steps of the bungalow, guests have their own 5 person hot tub and private patio. No parties! The space There is a private queen bedroom with TV and walk-in closet. There is a lofted twin bed in the living room, suitable for an adult or child. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, oven, microwave, double sink, full fridge and freezer. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials, including: dishes, utensils, pots, pans, cutting boards, baking pans, Keurig coffee machine, Brita water filter, and BBQ accessories. Kitchen is stocked with Keurig K-cups, creamer, and sweetener. Guests may cook in their own kitchen, use the outdoor propane grill, enjoy outdoor dining table for four, or eat at one of the nearby restaurants. The bathroom is tub/shower combination, heated Toto bidet/toilet, full vanity and backlit non-fog mirror. Fresh towels, linens, and pillows provided. Living room includes cozy leather couch, leather armchair and ottoman, 65" 4K Smart TV, X-Box for DVDs, fully-stocked DVD selection with X-Box game videos, board games, and poker set. Separate dining area, comfortably seats 4. All lighting is on dimmers. The temperature of the bungalow stays at a comfortable 69 degrees all year round, but guests can choose to turn on central heat or evaporative cooler as desired. Guest access Guests will likely need a vehicle, although house is .25 mile walk to bus stop. There is unlimited street parking and easy access to multiple biking and hiking trails. Other things to note There is a steep driveway and multiple descending steps to enter the bungalow, therefore, this property is not recommended for guests with significant mobility issues. There are also 3 steps in the bungalow to access the bathroom or kitchen. Guests should be cautioned that the property is at an elevation of approximately 6,000 feet above sea level, so guests coming from lower elevations should use caution when consuming alcohol or using the hot tub. Weekly cleaning and towels/linens cleaning weekly for $70/week for long term visits.
