Pine Room - Yosemite / Bass Lake

The Pine Room is 1 of our 4 rustic elegant en suite cabin rooms in our Evergreen Haus - Mountain Cabin 'Lodging House'. Our unique business model gives guests a nice mix of an Inn/B&B & cabin rental experience for less than the cost of a hotel room & far less than an actual cabin rental. Each cabin room is rented individually on a nightly basis with shared common areas, exactly like a B&B. What separates us from the rest is that the cabin's full kitchen can be used to cook all meals too. The space The Pine Room is one of the cabin's newly built 2 bedrooms with vaulted ceiling, private bathroom, & private covered patio entrance with table / 4 chairs. It's best suited for couples & able to comfortably accommodate up to 2 guests max with large California King size bed with deeper euro mattress, however there is an additional roll-away twin / additional bedding, specifically for friends / siblings that want to sleep separately. Includes small in-room table with 2 chairs, free WIFI, 32" flat screen Satellite TV, DVD/VHS combo player, digital alarm clock radio / CD player, mini-frig, coffee maker, electric fireplace, 2 nightstands, 2 bedside lamps, dresser, ceiling fan, hair dryer, iron. Both the new Pine & Cedar cabin rooms are our slightly smaller / more cost effective cabin room options for guests traveling on a budget. The cabin itself is a truly unique, beautiful custom built historic getaway overlooking beautiful mountain vistas with outstanding views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains frequented by grazing deer & wildlife or star gazing @ the brilliant night sky. It's one of the last rough cut milled timber cabins built in this area from the bygone days of the lumber mill era, immersing you in that 'step back in time' Yosemite mountain atmosphere. It's rustic exterior is complimented by a rustic elegant interior. Before opening July 4th, 2012, we spent the previous 2 1/2 years restoring the property & cabin with lots of new upgrades for our guests' enjoyment during their Yosemite trip. We additionally spent the following 2 years adding 2 brand new cabin rooms (Pine & Cedar) specifically for couples or additionally help accommodate larger groups. It's been a labor of love & we're very exited to share our cabin with interested Yosemite visitors, especially like minded kindred souls with a passion for this beautiful world famous mountain area destination who want their Yosemite lodging to be extra special / memorable. It's great for visitors who want more than the typical cookie cutter hotel / motel, but don't have a large group to split the cost of an actual cabin rental down to an affordable level &/or don't have an entire week to spend in a single location either (most vacation rental timeframe minimums). Our principle idea / philosophy that's behind everything is based on giving guests what we would want ourselves, which is primarily a cost effective immersive mountain experience with nature that's complimentary to Yosemite. The cabin's shared common areas are - Full kitchen access (stocked with lots of free breakfast items / drinks), Lodge style Great Room centered around large granite fireplace / big screen TV, large covered wrap around deck with lots of outdoor seating / beautiful mountain view / 5 burner BBQ propane gas grill, dining room table seating for 6, kitchen island seating for 3, laundry room (available for guests use daily after 4pm), private secluded 2 acres (with trampoline, playground, basketball for kids too), free parking (1 parking space per cabin room of which there are 2 covered shaded spaces under carport), etc Other things to note -FAQ : - What included free pre-packaged non perishable dry goods breakfast items / drinks do we offer our guests? Our guests are welcome to help themselves to variety packs of oatmeal packs, cereals, pop-tarts, waffles, syrups, coffees, creamers, teas, juices (orange, lemon aid, ice teas), apples, various condiments / spices / cooking oils, etc. - Are cookware & cooking utensils provided in cabin's full kitchen area? Yes! Along with various kitchenware, tableware, silverware, cups, etc. - For cabin's full common area kitchen, we just ask that guests rinse & place anything used into the dishwasher (like an out of sight drying rack) to help keep it nice for other guests that also would like to use it. However, we'll take it from there & typically wait until dishwasher gets full to run it to help conserve water / empty it, etc. - The cabin lights aren't automated, so no need to worry about turning them off @ night, as we always have to turn them all on & off manually daily. - The cabin is cooled / heated with central A/C, which we keep temperature anywhere between 67-73 degrees (varies). Every cabin room also has a ceiling fan. There's also additional electric fireplace & bathroom heaters in each cabin room too. - Unlike the bigger hotels with full time cleaning staff, we don't offer daily room turn downs, which is 1 reason we don't charge any additional cleaning fees. We don't enter any cabin rooms after guests have checked in. However, for longer 1 week stays or more (than average 2-3 night stays), we are happy to change linens, remove trash, etc upon request. Just let us know. - If more than 1 car per room, additional car can double up on end left parking space (leaving unused car daily parked in front parking space). -We always have to pre-arrange arrival times in order to meet guests upon arrival for quick cabin / room tour / check-in.
