Other things to note ❤️ Our personal favorites 🦞 To enjoy (really local) In the Cotentin markets, a large part of the seafood comes from local fishing: oysters, whelks, crabs, lobsters, spider crabs, as well as some fish depending on the season and the weather. The freshness and quality are remarkable. • Carteret and Barneville markets: our favorites for seafood • Ideal for cooking on site or composing a seafood platter 🍺 For a drink • La Cotentine brewery (behind the Carrefour Market) Local beers, friendly atmosphere, perfect at the end of the day. 🌊 To get some air • Sunset walk on Carteret Harbor • Customs officers' trail for panoramic views • Beach at the end of the day: always a magical moment, regardless of the weather 🛒 To live well on site • Local markets for fresh, seasonal cooking • Carteret baker for breakfasts and picnics ✨ Our little tip Fishing depends on the tides and the weather: every day is different. Take your time, taste, breathe… that's also Cotentin.
