Spacious, modern apartment (76m²) with tasteful ambience on the protected cliff above the black sand beach of Mesa del Mar in Tacoronte. Big windows with incredible views of Teide and Atlantic. This is a green area in the north of Tenerife, away from mass tourism but well located to access the urban centers and hiking areas. As you enter, you will see the open kitchen facing the Atlantic Ocean. The wide view over the ocean through the large sliding doors with a balcony facing west is breathtaking, even when cooking. The living area offers comfortable seating and a long, comfortable sofa suitable for sleeping. Adjoining is a place with a large table big enough for meals with guests, playing games or spreading out your creative work. There is a large window which you can open entirely in order to fully enjoy the open sky above. The bedroom area has a terrace facing south, perfect for sunbathing and eating outside in the midst of majestic scenery with the ever-changing view of Teide. As the outside, with its ever-changing moods, is so present through the large windows, we decided to keep the interiors unobtrusive. The modern furniture, for the most part custom designed by myself for "Mirador 5," is made of Spanish eucalyptus wood giving the apartment a warm and comfortable atmosphere. "Mirador 5“ is designed as an open space without doors to enhance the openness of the view all around. The different living areas are divided by light furniture made out of wood instead of obtrusive walls. Only the bathroom is separated by a door from the living area. Next to the kitchen is the dining area with a large table, suitable for meals with guests, playing board games, or spreading out work material for creative activities. The window in the dining area is also generous to let in the wide sky. The sleeping area has a south-facing large terrace for sunbathing or outdoor dining, surrounded by the nature-protected landscape overlooking the majestic Teide. Since the exterior with its changing moods is omnipresent through large windows, we opted for a restrained interior. The modern furniture, mostly designed by me for “Mirador 5,” is made of Spanish eucalyptus wood and gives a cozy living feeling. High-speed Ethernet (fiber optic) and Wi-Fi is available at any time. We take cleaning and disinfection seriously which is why we keep a minimum pause of 24 hours between bookings.
