The Royal Villa (100 meters from the house) also awaits you, a neoclassical masterpiece by architect Giuseppe Piermarini that makes Monza the Italian Versailles. Then the Expiatory Chapel (20 meters from the house), an eclectic monument in memory of the regicide that took place here on July 29, 1900. And finally the Cathedral of Monza, a magnificent example of Lombard Romanesque inside which you will find the Chapel of Teodolinda which represents one of the highest peaks of International Gothic, the Tree of Life by Arcimboldo and the famous Iron Crown with which many kings and emperors were crowned (Charlemagne, Frederick Barbarossa, Napoleon Bonaparte and many others). Attached to the Cathedral is the beautiful Museum, rich in artifacts especially from the Lombard period. The historic center of the city (which is a 10-minute walk from the house) will amaze you with its beauty and elegance.
