Cosy chalet in a wonderful green landscape

Plans-sur-bex to rent for weeks ends or holidays In a traditional village located in the Alps (canton de Vaud), this chalet will offer you relaxing moments far for stressful cities! The space Attention ⚠️ Please read the following carefully! LOCATION The chalet is located in Les Plans-sur-Bex. It can be reached by car or postal bus (30 min from Bex station, Plans-sur-Bex village stop (100 m from the chalet). Our parking lot is 50 m from the chalet. The road is clear in winter, but please bring chains in case of heavy snowfall. THE HOUSE The chalet is very cosy and welcoming. It can accommodate a maximum of 6-8 adults (5 beds and a sofa bed) or a family. 1) Open-plan living and dining room, kitchen (no dishwasher) : - oven and electric hob / Italian coffee machine - square and round hotplates, cake tin - raclette oven (6 people) - fondue pot (6-8 people) - Italian coffee maker (tea and coffee available) - A shower room with WC and shower THE BEDROOMS Two bedrooms are located on the second floor: - one with a double bed (160x200cm) - one with a bunk bed (90x200cm) and two mattresses (90x200cm) - steep stairs lead up to the second floor (this may be inconvenient for people with reduced mobility or dangerous for young children) HEATING The wood-burning stove heats the living room, and small hatches allow the bedrooms to be heated with the rising heat. There are no radiators in either the living room or the bedrooms! It can get cold on winter mornings. We provide the wood. EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE ON REQUEST - cot and high chair - games and books for children - we do not provide food. Some guests leave coffee and tea, oil but no guarantee. GARDEN AND GROUNDS - 1200m2 garden - tables and deckchairs - swings and hammock - tree house. Ladder under chalet to attach to fence. Please note that the tree house is very high (3 meters). We accept no responsibility for accidents and strongly advise young children not to climb it! ENVIRONMENT AND HIKING This chalet is dedicated to mountain lovers. Its location in a small village (the nearest supermarket is in Bex) means you can completely disconnect from society. Great hiking nearby (Grand Muveran, Trou à l'Ours, Pont-de-Nant, Cabane de la Tourche, Bovonne, Azeinde, Villars, Solalex). WIFI AND 4G NO WIFI AVAILABLE (no zoom videoconferencing possible, no home office) and 4G is difficult to get ⚠️ it seems that Swisscom has recently installed 5G antenna but with my Salt phone, it does not work. If you'd like to get away from it all and have a good time away from the stress of the city, this is the place for you! Here are a few instructions for a good use of the chalet: Bedding is included, but please bring your own towels. IMPORTANT 1) Please stay on our plot delimited by the grass, the wooden stakes and the wood pile, the neighbors don't appreciate us going into their fields, even if it's just to look at the horses. Thank you! 2) Make sure you do your shopping beforehand, there's no supermarket in the village but a grocery store in Frenière or a Migros in Bex. 3) Please park only on our driveway (not in the garden). 4) We regularly use our little chalet and like it very much, so we provide our equipment and belongings on site. Please put things back after use ;) 5) We have just changed the parquet and tiles, please be careful with the stove fire and embers 🙏🏼 Please use firelighters WITHOUT parafin 6) Be careful with the coffee maker. Always place it on a trivet! Some people have left it on the hob and burnt the worktop. Please be careful :) Guest access All accommodation is available Other things to note We preheat the chalet in advance, but the fire has to be kept going. In winter, be sure to arrive before dark and bring warm clothes! - Bring your own towels - We leave our condiments on site, but cannot guarantee availability.
