Located in the stunning Whangarei Heads, The Quarters is a 30m2 cabin with plenty of parking. Build in 2021 on our 100 acre farm, it's private with views of farmland, native bush & a glimpse of the harbour. We are in the middle of McLeod Bay (about 350m to the beach) & a few minutes drive to beautiful walks tracks such as Mount Manaia & Mount Aubrey. 12 minutes drive to Ocean Beach or to Pines Golf Club & 25 minutes to Whangarei. Nearby is the Manaia Club, Parua Bay Tavern & other eateries. The space The studio cabin has a King sized bed, bathroom with a washing machine, television with freeview, gas cook-top, microwave, fridge/freezer, Weber BBQ & a deck perfect for watching the sunset. Due to the distance from our house there is no WIFI available & mobile coverage can be patchy within the cabin itself. Please note we have free range chickens who are inquisitive so they may pay you a visit! Guest access You will share the main driveway with our family & my mother who's house is roadside. The cabin is located on a concrete slab so there is ample parking. Please note there are farm vehicles, chickens & free roaming kids around but we will keep out of your way! Other things to note As we are a working farm the property is full of 'potential hazards' so due to health & safety regulations we can not allow access to rest if the farm unaccompanied. The farm is a 'kiwi zone' hence no pets allowed but things are quiet so you may hear the kiwi calls at night. We are available if need be otherwise your private section is yours while you enjoy your stay.
