The cottage sits within its own grounds in the small hamlet of Masongill, a dozen houses along half a mile of single track, no-through road which leads directly onto the fells over looking Inglebrough, one of North Yorkshire's Three Peaks. As you enter through the original porch, you are transported into a stylish drawing room where you can relax after a busy day exploring the Dales. A wood burning stove will keep you warm and cosy whatever the weather. Make culinary memories using delicious local Yorkshire produce in the stunning kitchen with its four-oven Aga and french doors opening out onto the garden where alfresco dining can be enjoyed around the comfortable outside furniture seating eight guests. The first floor offers four delightful bedrooms, two with their very own en-suite bath or shower room and further family bathroom, all of which boast countryside views through the historic mullion windows. From the well tended plantsman's garden and two paddocks there are beautiful views to the west as far as the Irish sea, and to the east to the summit of Ingleborough. Masongill Lodge is in an ideal location for an outdoor break with plenty of scenic walking and cycling directly from the front door of the property. Guests of Masongill Lodge will be spoilt for choice when it come to dining out, whether it be a light lunch at The Falls Bar and Kitchen or an evening meal at the Marton Arms, just 5 minutes drive away. An impressive ornate flagstone floor completes this beautiful room. Hallway A seating area with two armchairs, exposed stonework, beams and an original stone flagged floor. Garden room Looking out to the terrace and garden. Utility and boot room with cloakroom off With a washing machine, tumble dryer, wash basin and WC. Sitting room Windows front and back let plenty of light in. Wood burning stove in an inglenook fireplace with a stone hearth. Television with Freeview and integrated DVD player. Beautifully beamed ceiling. Kitchen Sleek cream units house a built-in combination microwave, a four oven Aga with a separate two plate hob, fridge, freezer and a dishwasher. A large island unit is a real feature of this room and incorporates the sink. Decorative shelving and over mantel hold cookery books and decorative items. French doors open onto the garden First Floor: Bedroom one With a king-size brass bed. Enjoy the stunning views of the rear and front of the property. Walk-through dressing room. Bedroom three With a 6' super-king size zip and link bed, can be configured as twin single beds on request. Bedroom four South facing twin bedroom with two stylish brass 3' beds. This room has some stunning exposed beams. Family bathroom With a bath, wash basin and WC. Outside: Enclosed rear garden with separate meadow and small walled paddock. Garden furniture and barbecue. Ample parking. Other things to note Twin bedroom with 3' zip and link beds which can convert to a 6' bed on request.
