Welcome to the Hostel on the Hill! A chilled place for surfers, hikers and everyone who likes to enjoy the beauty of the South-West Algarve with it´s impressive beaches that are just around the corner. We offer spacious rooms, a communal kitchen, plenty of terraces and a big garden. The Hostel is located in Hortas do Tabual, a traditional portuguese village right in the Natural Park of the Costa Vicentina. So just make a booking, come over and enjoy! The space The Hostel on the Hill is located in the Natural Park of the Costa Vicentina, just a five minutes drive away from the surfer beaches Zavial and Ingrina. The long distance hiking trail "Via Algarviana" runs next to the house, the "Rota Vicentina" is only a few kilometers away. You will stay at the small traditional portuguese village Hortas do Tabual. Lagos with it´s crazy nightlife is 20 km away. To Sagres, the former end of the world, it is only 10 kilometers. Guest access The 8 bed dorm is a spacious room with its own terrace. You will have access to a big communal area, a kitchen where you can prepare your own meals, many terraces to chill in the sun, a big garden and a BBQ area. You can add breakfast, our home made dinners (on request, fixed days in high season) or some of the activities that are offered nearby, as surfing courses, diving, SUP-Tours, dolphin watching, kayak tours, mountainbiking and many more. Other things to note Pets are welcome upon request and only in a private room. Our friendly dog "Pina" loves to hang out with guests in the living room and on the terrace.
