Lemonhouse with terrace

*** Freshly renovated in June 2024 with a new kitchen and brand-new private terrace *** We’ve hosted guests for over 10 years in the beautiful Lemonhouse and have just given the apartment a complete refresh, ready for summer! The Lemonhouse is a two-bedroom apartment, ideally located just meters above Dubrovnik’s famous Old Town city walls. Smell the sea air as you sit on your private terrace, where you can practically touch Minceta. (70 sq.m. apartment + 35 sq.m. terrace) The space About the Lemonhouse: The Lemonhouse is our family house, built by our great-grandparents. We have invested lots of love and time into making it a beautiful place for people to stay. Our guests have always commented on the property’s beautiful, relaxed energy. We have maintained the original floorplan in our restoration, giving you the use of two huge bedrooms, an oversized kitchen, a large bathroom and a private terrace. The apartment has a TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating. The two oversized light-filled bedrooms each have a double bed and lounge chairs. One bedroom has a view of the garden, city walls and the Old Town. The second room shares the same view, with the protection of a tangerine tree to make sure you sleep well in case of summer heat. The full bathroom has a big bathtub. Our big kitchen has modern appliances with a historical twist, a stone sink and an old wood stove, equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals. From the kitchen, you can step right out to your shaded terrace overlooking the Minceta fortress where you can relax, have your meals, or just chill out. The apartment is suitable for a longer stay as it has everything you need. If we don’t have what you want, we will get it for you! If you decide to have a week or longer stay in the Lemonhouse apartment, we are happy to offer you a discount. Not suitable for parties of any kind – our neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful. Location: The Lemonhouse apartment is located just outside the city walls. We are in a central location – it’s a 3-minute walk to Dubrovnik’s famous Old Town, the beach, cable car, restaurants, airport shuttle bus station, public parking garage, bank, ATM. You will be close enough to all the sights, but in a quiet enclave away from the city crowds and noise. You can get fresh croissants for a perfect holiday breakfast in the nearby bakery, as well as any other groceries you might need in a local supermarket that offers local products and fresh fruits and veggies. From right outside our door, you can take one of Dubrovnik’s famous stairs right into the thick of the action. And luckily there is another path into town, an even path without steps, especially useful for those with prams or wheeled bags. The apartment is located in a neighbourhood called Kapelitza, by the old chapel. From here you can take a beautiful walk to the hill behind Dubrovnik, where you will have a stunning view of the Old Town, the Adriatic Sea and the islands. The sunset from there is just breathtaking. Guest access The Lemonhouse apartment is situated on the ground floor of the house. You have the whole floor to yourself, with a private entrance and a private terrace extending from the kitchen. The property has a gated entrance from the street and there are only two apartments for rent in total. Other things to note We invested a lot of love in making our great-grandparents’ home beautiful and cosy. It is a place for relaxation, not a place for loud parties, bachelor parties and similar. The neighbourhood is close to the heart of the city, but it is still a quiet residential neighbourhood, calm and peaceful.
