Description

A gorgeous studio apartment, with fabulous mountain, sea and beach views, in a secure & well-maintained complex, with access to a public and a private beach just metres from your doorstep! Underground parking and lift; multiple marinas to stroll around, on site restaurants/bars and hotel, and a shopping centre a short walk away. Close to a golf course/driving range, wine estates, Somerset Mall (huge shopping complex), and an easy drive to Cape Town, Stellenbosch, and along the False Bay coast. The space The apartment is in a secure complex, with lovely views and very easy access to 2 beaches (one private and the other a public beach). It is also fully equipped for both easy cooking, dining, and comfortable living and sleeping. A large selection of DVDs is provided for viewing on the TV, and both reading and tourist books/leaflets are also available for use. The marinas provides several kilometres of interesting and safe walking around the complex, with frequent sightings of boats coming in/out, seals, sea birds and sometimes even sea otters. And of course it's possible to take long beach walks, and even do some fishing from the pier. If you don't feel like cooking, there are 6 restaurants just one minute's walk away, plus several bars. Free wifi is available in the hotel and the restaurants - just ask for the wifi code. Guest access You will have complete access to the apartment and balcony and underground parking bay, and shared access to ground level open parking. There is also a garden, a lift and 2 swimming pools that you will share with other residents. Other things to note Electricity is provided on a metered system so you will need to monitor your electricity usage during your stay. You can estimate about 20 units of electricity per day for average summer time usage. (P.S. You can save on electricity by switching on the hot water cyclinder for just 1-2 hours per day.) You will need to buy extra electricity units from Pick 'n Pay supermarket (across the road), and then key-in the code for these units into the meter (located in the linen cupboard). I will explain how and where on your arrival. Residents are also asked to be 'water-wise' due to the effects of the 2018 drought/water restrictions that affected all of Cape Town. Please recycle your CLEAN plastics, paper, cardboard, tins, boxes etc. in the clear plastic recyclables bags provided.
