La Solana

The space La Solana country house is located in Malpartida de Plasencia, just 7 km from Plasencia and between La Vera, the Jerte Valley and the Ambroz Valley, within the Monfragüe National Park region, which is just 15 minutes away. Formerly called Casa Cilla (17th century), it was owned by the Bishopric of Plasencia and today retains its architecture, shape, and details, adapted to 21st-century comfort. In the building you can see its Arab cistern with water, vaults and its ancient, strong construction forms: a journey into the past with all the comforts of today. La Solana is a beautiful rural complex with 6 apartments, sleeping from 2 to 6 people. The apartments have a rustic 300-square-meter patio and a garden of more than 800 square meters, with a pool, barbecue (closed in summer; we provide electric grills), and furniture for relaxing. Each and every one of our apartments is fully equipped with free WiFi, air conditioning, heating and spacious rest areas. It's a strategic place to enjoy Northern Extremadura. Guests have access to an extensive garden of more than 1,000 m², with large green areas, shaded spaces and corners where they can relax in complete tranquility. In addition, the property has a beautiful traditional courtyard of 350 m², dominated by a large fig tree that provides natural shade during the warmer months, with outdoor furniture and relaxation areas ideal for reading, talking, enjoying an outdoor meal or simply unwinding while taking in the surroundings. During the summer season, the pool is shared among the guests staying in the different apartments. Thanks to the spaciousness of the property, the garden and the patio, there is always enough space for everyone to comfortably enjoy the facilities without feeling crowded, and the layout of the outdoor areas allows each family or group to find its own corner to rest and enjoy the stay.
