99 BeachyHead - Plettenberg Bay is a beach-front property situated on Robberg Beach. Situated on the beach kids can run up and down to the beach at will, and you can watch them surf from the house patio - which will make a big difference to your holiday. Uninterrupted views from the house of the Robberg peninsular and the bay. Recently re-furbished to high spec modern beach-house style. Watch dolphins, whales, surfers from Patio. The space 99 BeachyHead Drive is a BEACH-FRONT property which has 180 degree views of the bay (Formosa mountains to Robberg). Front Kitchen is fitted with Bosch appliances including double fridge, dish washer, coffee machine and ice machine. The main house consists of 2 bedrooms: A main room with en-suite bathroom and a guest/kids room with 3 single beds and separate bathroom. (5 persons max in front house). A further extension to the house exists at the back cottage comprising 2 large ensuite rooms (the 2 back area bedrooms measure approx. 7metersx7m and ~10mx7m("Ping-pong room") (both back rooms with their own bathrooms) with the option to accommodate 8 people (children usually stay in the back rooms) This back "cottage"/ area has its own basic kitchen, fridge etc and 2 ensuite bathrooms and also houses the washing and drying machine. Back area "cottage" would ideally work for children / guests where the group doesn't mind sharing the front communal areas patio . PLEASE NOTE THAT THE HOUSE IS TYPICALLY NOT SUITABLE FOR MORE THAN 1 FAMILY + EXTENDED KIDS, KIDS FRIENDS, YOUNGSTERS who dont mind staying in the back rooms ( Adults in the back rooms sharing booking fees may be disappointed: the back rooms do not have a sea view, and are not finished and decorated to the same spec as the front rooms, and the front rooms have the pool, patio, kitchen and lounge areas adjacent. To avoid disappointment prefer not to put adults in the back rooms) Robberg 5 beach is a stones throw from the house and has full-time lifeguards on duty during the season, and in peak season there is often a life guard station directly in front of the house. Old lady has soul – simple sand-between-the -toes style: garden, patio, views, space, replete with occasional squawk/quirk – a sense of Mozambique island / Transkei beach holiday touch far preferred to brand new concrete block mansion (in my opinion). Other things to note MAID SERVICE: Maid next door manages house in our absence. Daily maid at R250/day for your account is a compulsory house rule. Maid will organise her own transport. Maid Duties: make beds, do laundry, tidy house, do dishes, spring clean, tidy rubbish, ensure cushions, veranda is properly arranged in the morning, set tables for meals etc. House fully equipped incl dishwasher, laundry etc.
