A beautiful contemporary home overlooking rolling wildflower meadows in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Light and airy British Scandi interior filled with a mixture of artisan pieces. House by the green is in a peaceful hamlet within walking distance of a local shop and a village pub serving good local food. Come and stay for a weekend , enjoy breakfast, a walk and then head out to explore the Cotswolds. The space House by the green includes two generously sized double bedrooms with top quality beds & bedding. The two rooms share a bathroom with a large walk in shower, toilet and wash basin. The comfortable landing area with sofa overlooks wildflower meadows and stunning Golden Valley. Perfect for enjoying the papers and sipping a morning coffee. Downstairs there is a relaxed kitchen space with scrubbed bleached table. Simple white bone china plates and washed linen napkins are perfect to enjoy your breakfast with. Sliding glass doors lead out to a seating area and garden where you can relax and enjoy the birds singing with no interruptions. A couple of steps will take you down to an understated and informal living room including a wood burning stove for colder times. Other things to note There are few house rules as such, though we ask that you remove your shoes on arrival. The only other request is that you use our re-cycling system for your rubbish so we can maintain the green ethic. We expect our guests to respect the peace and quiet of the area and relax and enjoy themselves. Please don't hesitate to ask if there is anything you want or need.
