The Roundhouse : en-suite glamping with hot tub

Tucked away in its own enclosed garden, The Secret Roundhouse is the perfect romantic getaway for couples wanting a luxury and novel experience with an emphasis on the outdoors. The Secret Roundhouse has underfloor heating and wood burner perfect for cosy days. Outside you will find a wood burning hot tub, covered alfresco supper kitchen and a fire bowl for cosying up in the evenings. The garden is enclosed so perfect for bringing your four legged loved one too. The space Tucked away on a separate area of our site, The Roundhouse is the perfect romantic getaway for couples wanting a luxury and novel expereicne. In the Roundhouse’s own private garden tucked away from the main site you’ll find your own wood-fired hot tub (round of course!), covered alfresco supper kitchen and a fire bowl for cosying up in the evenings. The larch wood Roundhouse is covered in an insulating ‘eco’ grass roof with central sky port hole for star gazing. It has under floor heating, full en-suite facility, wood-burning stove and a luxury hand picked interior. Guests staying in the Roundhouse are still able to access the community spirit of East Thorne and its facilities, such our outdoor pizza oven and communal camp fire. Or kick back in your own private area tucked away from the main site. We have a beautiful south facing spot in a countryside setting. We are half a mile from our nearest shops and pub, 3 miles from our nearest beach and 5 miles from Bude. There are links to public transport in our local village 10 mins walk away. On site parking is free. Guest access Guest can access all there is to offer at East Thorne : campfire, clay oven and a beautiful undercover barn for group dining and gatherings. The roundhouse can be used as a couples retreat style stay or part of a larger group VIP when used in conjunction with our yurts and cottages on our beautiful site. Other things to note Additionally we have 8 further roundhouses on site and 4 cosy cottages ( for the more conventional stay). We can accommodate up to 54 guests in total.
