Large superking room with private terrace

A delightful owner run B&B on a farm in the Dorset countryside with horses, sheep, a river and an abundance of wildlife. Delicious local food and very comfy beds. The space The Blue Room is a large room on the ground floor, with a superking double bed, and an en suite shower room and dressing area. A very light room with an integrated woodburner and a door out to it's own south facing stone terrace, which looks over the garden to the river and farm beyond. During your stay Bill and Rachel Hall welcome you to Gutchpool, where they have lived for the last 14 years since moving from Oxford. Bill runs the family business from the barns, which makes environmental monitors for museums and art galleries, he is also a keen pilot, and has flown his single engine aircraft all over the world. Rachel has slowly renovated the house, made a garden, created a wildflower meadow and planted numerous trees, including an orchard with predominantly old West Country apple varieties. She now runs the stables and the farm, and is building up a small flock of Dorset Down sheep. When time allows she also paints, writes and sews.
