The Ticket Office at Strathcarron Station is a luxury self catering apartment on the famous Kyle Line, one of the “Great Railway Journeys”. Enjoy a relaxing break in this two bedroom ground floor disabled friendly apartment. Many original features have been retained and the space has been carefully modernised with ramp access and wet room. Peaceful views to the surrounding mountains and watch the trains right outside! Only half a mile from NC500 too. Sorry no children under 13 or pets. The space Stay in cosy, modern surroundings in a building dating from 1870. Right on the station platform (only eight trains per day!), but with every modern facility and convenience. Oil central heating throughout but with an electric stove for those chilly evenings. Please do be aware that the sofa and chairs in the sitting room are quite small. They are in keeping with the period “look” we have tried to recreate throughout the property, so if lounging on the sofa is an important part of your holiday you may prefer to book our Station Master’s apartment which has a large leather recliner and chair.
