The fully equipped kitchen (2 gas burners, refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, kettle coffee maker...) will allow you to cook for yourself, if you prefer not to order lunch or dinner from our reasonably priced menu. We can provide a laundry service for a modest fee. The vast terrace overlooking the garden, the pool and the sea will welcome you for meals and relaxation. The private pool is cleaned and the water quality monitored every day. Swim peacefully, while enjoying the show of the waves. Guests will have access to the entire villa and gardens. The villa manager will be available to answer all of your questions, arrange excursions or just short trips into the local town. You will be on a quiet, beautiful palm-fringed and sandy beach on the outskirts of Ambalangoda, which is less than 5 minutes away by tut tuk. Ambalangoda is regarded as the heart and soul of southern art and culture, with its gifted mask artists (see the famous mask workshop and museum), historic bell tower and temple and as a centre for antiques. Not far away can be found the longest reclining Buddha statue in South Asia, a moonstone mine, turtle and fish farms and the lively town of Hikkaduwa. Within just over 30 minutes by tuk tuk is the renowned Galle Fort UNESCO World Heritage Site. The famous Sinharaja rainforest, the Udawalawe wildlife park or a tea estate and factory can be reached during a one day trip that can easily be arranged. We have a tuk tuk service for local trips. The location is close to Ambalangoda town, where there are bus and railway stations, and to the expressway to Colombo.
