Rental unit in Düsseldorf

I'm Heiko Beck Kos, freelance artist, traveling a lot with my little family. It is our home and not an investment property, set up as a unpersonal airbnb apartment. We want to make this special place full of life, stories and love available to other lovable people. My studio and shop is right next to a movie theater, cafe, art studios and galleries. The space Maybe you have already looked at the pictures of our Düsseldorf home and found a "small" difference to the most offered airbnb apartments. For my wife, now also our little son, my circle of friends and, of course, me too, this place is something special and our german home. Especially because of the fact that here in December 2010 my today's wife entered the gallery and thus into my life. German home, because my wife is Slovene and since the birth of our son we often stay in her home country, when we are not traveling abroad for work or for holiday. As with all parents, our lives have changed a lot since then. Alone for space and cleanliness reasons, I have reshaped my work space more and more into a living space for our little family. I am now artistically creating only in my studio in Slovenia. However, I continue to earn my money only here in my shop, which I now share with a friend for always having someone in attendance. This location was a meeting place from the beginning. Spaces in which a lot of talking, celebrating, discussing and meeting every stranger with respect and helpfulness took part. That's what my beloved wife and I want to keep alive, even if we are unfortunately less personally present. We would be glad to make this place full of life, stories and love available to other lovable people in order to keep it alive. Even if the pictures already speak for themselves, who is looking for a "clean" and "neutral" furnished apartment, should rather choose one from that large number. What doesn`t mean, it`s not clean… We would like to see the guests feel at home with us, also or just because we usually can`t get to know each other personally. On the pragmatic facts: The entrance to the living area is through the store. Sleeping- and bathroom is lockable. The kitchen is nearly 24h for your own disposal. It´s only possible, that Volker or Andreas, who run the shop, while we are gone, get a drink or put a pizza in the oven, while they work. The bathroom you have also 19h a day alone just for you. Only in the store opening hours Mon-Fri between 2pm-7pm and Saturday 1pm - 5pm my friend Volker sometimes uses the toilet. During this time, he is certainly looking forward to a visit and a nice conversation in the shop where, in addition to my art, he sells used records. With my friend Aki, in the Cafe "Sweet Memory" or the funny guys from the "Nos Nos" next door, there is always something nice to drink or eat. On foot you are in 3 minutes at the S-Bahn station Bilk and from there in 5 minutes at the central station, Königsallee or the old town. Personally, I find it most beautiful in Bilk and hardly leave my neighborhood. We would be glad, if you want to be our guests. If you have any questions, just let me know. I try to answer everything as fast as possible (I am old-fashioned and therefore can`t fix everything directly from the smartphone ... :-)). Guest access As a guest you have access to the hall, bathroom,bedroom, kitchen and shop. Of course, the shop is also open to clients, but only during the opening hours between 2pm and 7pm.
