Old schoolhouse by the Pärnu river

A place with fascinating history - over 85 years old former schoolhouse surrounded with nature. Now here is a basecamp for hikers and a vacation place for families and groups of friends. Our family lives in one part of the house, separately from guests. And we take only one booking at a time. Since our main activity is to arrange canoe trips and nature hikes - we are glad to organize you a canoe trip and introduce you local hiking trails, forests, bogs and sight-seeings. The space Our old schoolhouse has two floors. We take only one booking at a time. Guests can use basically half of the house (5 bedrooms with 1 bathroom on a second floor and downstairs there are kitchen, toilet and halls). Outside there is a barbecue place, sandbox and playground for children, huge yard to walk and play games. And also – in the yard of the schoolhouse is a wood-heated sauna, which can be heated up for the end of the canoe trip or just for a pleasant stay with your friends and family. To cool off between the sessions in the hot room you can step into the shower or just jump in to the nearby river! Use of the sauna is for the additional cost. Guest access Guests have access to bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, toilet and halls. Outside is a possibility to make a bonfire in a barbecue place, which also has sitting places and table. Children can play in the sandbox and on the playground. And also there is a possibility to play volleyball, swim in the river, go to a sauna, use village roads for hiking and running (example little walk to nearby Kurgja farm museum - there and back: 6 km). During your stay We are living in the same house that guests can use, but in the separate rooms. So we are here basically the whole time. Other things to note The closest supermarkets, bus and railway station are about 20 km from our place.
