Private residence on the Baltic Sea near Stralsund

Schloss Hohendorf is located in the popular holiday regions near Stralsund, the gateway to Rügen, on the Baltic Sea. The property is located in a large castle park surrounded by nature with horse paddocks, not far from the Bodden waters, the sea and the picturesque fishing port of Barhöft, which also attracts sailors. There are 30 private apartments in the castle. The modern and brightly furnished apartment 17 is about 30 m², equipped with a new kitchenette and is located on the 2nd floor of the property. The space 10 times a year, concerts of the highest standard take place in the private estate: classical concerts with violin, piano and wind quintet to modern jazz, Latino, Swedish a-capella and Japanese sound art are all included. The private Hohendorf Palace is an insider tip for wedding couples. The apartment is modern and nicely decorated. Guest access The castle is spread over two wings: the east wing is privately owned, the west wing is divided into 12 smaller residential units available to vacation guests. Other things to note Cell phone reception is partially limited due to the thick walls. Washing machines and a dryer are available in the basement, which can be used on request from our castle manager. Dogs are welcome. Fee: €15/night up to a maximum of €65/stay
