Description

Tastefully decorated lavish 280 square foot room with impressive high ceilings and natural light. Relax in this private sanctuary with a very comfortable queen size bed, your own couches and dining space, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and many other comforts more reminiscent of an upscale hotel. Perfectly located away from the crowds and congestion of Midtown yet only a 15 minute subway ride to Times Square. An abundance of shops and restaurants all within 3 minutes walking distance. The space Experience true luxury in one of the most beautiful areas of Manhattan. This apartment is located in a historic listed brownstone building right on Lenox Avenue, the widest and arguably the best looking avenue in Manhattan. The Room At 280 square feet this newly renovated bedroom is huge by New York standards. It is twice the size of the average “’large”’ bedroom in the area. The room includes a queen bed with comfortable memory foam mattress, cable TV, sofas, dining table and chairs, refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker. What is included in the room: - Large queen size bed with oversized contemporary headboard and comfortable memory foam mattress. - Oversized Ethan Allen nightstands with modern alarm clock/USB charging stand. - 50 inch Samsung flat screen smart TV - Cable and high speed Internet access - Large modern sofas and coffee table - Dining room table/workspace with three chairs - Ethan Allen Dresser with mirror and stool - Kitchenette area with your own Fridge/Freezer, Microwave and Keurig coffee maker (you also have access to a full kitchen) - Teapot and french press - Fresh towels and linen - Extra blankets and throw - Two clean white bath robes - Luggage rack for your suitcase - Hairdryer - First aid kit - Yoga mat and roller - Iron and ironing board - Drying rack - Large closet space and hangers - Selection of books including NYC guide book The Bathroom The bathroom is directly outside the room. The classic New York-style bathroom, features black and white subway tile accents. Extras There is a laundromat in the basement of the building. It is free for you to use with free laundry liquid (Tide) Apartment access The apartment is up only one flight of stairs and the entire floor has two guest rooms and a shared bathroom. The bathroom is only shared with the other gust room. Guests enter through a separate front entrance which allows them to discretely come and go directly to their rooms without disturbing anybody else in the building. Guest access The room is on a separate floor which has its own entrance with two bedrooms and one bathroom. Other things to note Guests are usually welcome to come early to drop off their bags at the apartment if they arrive in New York earlier than check-in time. If the room is ready earlier then they would be welcome to check in. Guests are also welcome to leave their bags in the apartment (outside of the room) after checkout on their last day. If there is not another guest checking in the next day I usually allow guests to check out whenever is convenient. If guests are booking for a longer stay and have friends or family visiting for short periods they are usually very welcome (no additional cost). I will provide extra bedding and towels as needed.
