The space Located 35 mins from Cradle Mountain, Tasmania's Tasting Trail and over 200 other attractions nearby in what we call Cradle Country, our property offers an indoor heated swimming pool, a silver mine to explore, evening spotlighting walk (subject to weather and host availability) and set alongside Sheffield's magnificent Mt Roland. We offer guests a taste of rural and bush life as well as a personal experience with farm and wild animals. Guests can go hiking on one of the many walking trails surrounding the property, including the 7 hour Mt Roland Summit Track. We host evening native wildlife walks onsite (subject to weather) to see brush tail possums, wallabies, owls and platypus. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire cabin, indoor heated pool, 162 acres of garden/farm/bushland as well as the historic silver mine. Farm rules apply: Guests must leave any farm gates they pass through the way they found them. The property adjoins 10,000 hectares of nature reserve with more than 30km of walking track. Guests are free to explore this and we are happy to provide pointers on how to navigate it.
