The Hut@Rimu is a rustic retreat located on our scenic lifestyle block 8 minutes drive from Hokitika. The hut is a unique space with a mezzanine lounge loft and covered outdoor kitchen and bathroom. Our tiny house is the perfect place to relax, unwind and take in the beautiful West Coast scenery. If you are looking for a experience that is a little out of the ordinary this is the place for you . CHECK OUT OUR INSTA PAGE the_hut_at_rimu The space The Hut@Rimu is the ideal accommodation for an adventurous couple or a trio of friends seeking a unique West Coast experience. The Hut is nestled in the bush adjacent to our family home with plenty of space,privacy and ample parking. Sleeping options include one queen size bed, located on the ground floor and when needed there is a king single on the cosy mezzanine above. A small selection of dvd's, books and games are available for your enjoyment. The covered outdoor kitchen/dining area features a weber bbq, double electric hotplate, fridge, and a well equiped pantry with all the necessary cooking/dining utensils. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and marshmallows supplied. This is an ideal place for enjoying those long summer evenings and enjoying the Wild West coast weather we sometimes experience. Nestled around the back of the hut is a covered shower/wash room, a seperate toilet and an outside bath. Taking a long soak is such a treat after a long day adventuring! What better way to end the day than sitting around the outdoor fire pit, stargazing, toasting marshmallows and relaxing with a glass of wine. Guest access As this is a lifestyle block and we do have animals you are more than welcome to wander around but please check with us first.
