Totally renovated barn, built 1694

The barn is a tipical building of the Valais, lodging 4 people. Located on the sunny and calm side of the valley it offers you all you need to enjoy a relaxing stay. Parking available behind the house. The space The barn, like the neighbouring house, have entirely been renovated between 2012 and 2013. The woodden outer structure dates from 1694, while the interior is modern mixed with old woodden elements. Outside of the barn there is a covered connection to the neighbouring house and the basement of the common area. Access to the garden with a table and BBQ for summer partys. During the renovation important investments took place in order to build an ecological house. A heat exchanger, combined with solar panels in the garden, produce the necessary warm water and heating, while on the roof of the house there is a photovoltaic installation producing about 75-80% of the power consumed in the buildings and its three apartments. Guest access During the summer months enjoy the garden and the BBQ for your grills. Might need to share it with other renters of the other apartment. Enjoy the Sauna located in the basement. Small and cosy for max 4 people. Against payment of 4 x CHF 5.00, the Sauna starts to warm up for about 40 min and as of that moment you have got 60min to enjoy it as much as you want. Cool-down in winter in the fresh snow through a special exit! Washing machine and dryer available against payment on the spot. Other things to note On top of the rental following tourism tax needs to be paid on the spot: CHF 3.00 per adult/day and CHF 1.50 per kid between 6-16/day CHF 20 per person for bedsheets and towels CHF 130 for the final cleaning of the apartement. During the high season from mid-december to end of march, minimum rental period of 7 days from saturday to saturday. The house is non-smoking and we do not accept pets. We kindly ask you to respect your neighbours. Even though we tried to isolate all walls and floors as good as we could, it remains at the base an old wooden house.
